Haha i thought the game was at 4pm and thought i was going to San Jose a bit early (took a train from San Fran already at 10am) but the game starts at 1pm local time

Hahahaha that would have been embarrassing :D
I’ve only been on the West Coast once but staying up late and waking up to 10am NFL games is something I could get used to.

You guys are my pickem team today. So go and get that win please :naughty:
Change your avy to non Bruins and we will think about it.

Take advantage of this game today, as this should be the most winnable game until after the break. I have the schedule approaching the break memorized, but I don't have much recollection of what it looks like in February, but this is probably the most winnable game until we play Arizona or Chicago again or the next time we play the piece of shit Blue Jackets again. We're done with Anaheim for the year. We should have two more left against the Canadiens, 3 (or do we only play them 3 times total this year?) against the LOSER Jackets and a road game against each of Arizona and Chicago, but other than that, this is one we should be winning.

The Sharks are pining for Bedard and I HOPE they get him, if we can't. They have hired the PERFECT tank commander to guide this team in David Quinn, despite GASLIGHTING their fans into believing ''Oh, we're gonna compete! We gotta be competitive! We're putting a good product on the ice! Believe me!''.

Kahkonen has been unbelievable awful and regularly allows goals where he looks like he just gives up and makes no effort to try and recover. What a shrewd pickup by Joe Will last year when he was interim GM. And I MEAN that. That's a shrewd pickup to get another shooter tutor out of Minnesota (it was Dubnyk the year before lol) that was propped up over there. Nice work. He's been an absolute machine in operating this tank.

Reimer just looks like he doesn't really wanna be there anymore and wishes some team in a playoff position would pick him up, all the while sending another Kahkonen back in return to really blow this thing up.

*Cough* sounds like the perfect partner is in the building today? *Cough*

They did but it was early in the season before they knew they were playing out the string and before we had the confidence of forty plus games worth of being an upper echelon team
Sharks are 6-3-1 in their last 10. Correction. That's head to head.

Is that a horse or a Unicorn?

If it's a unicorn, Dougie's face does not belong there.

Still funny, though.

It was also before Kahkonen just gave up on made no effort to recover or get back up and into his net. He looks like Marty during some of the MacLean disaster games. The Thrashers game (Boulton's hat trick) and the Capitals game after (MacLean's swan song) come to mind.

Don't get me wrong, he sucked in the games he played this year before he faced us that day, but he was pathetic in the Oilers game. The team/defense was worse, but he gave up. One of the goals doesn't look bad, but he throws himself over, has enough time to at least be upright by the time the shot comes and just makes a half-ass attempt at getting back up.

This guy is GOOD........ At tanking. From now on, whenever you wanna tank, this is your guy to tank. The other bad teams that have a goalie spot opening up up need to BATTLE it out for this guy. He's more than worth his salary just to TANK you. I think he's worth about $5 million for a team that needs to get to the cap floor and wants to tank.

And Quinn,,,,,,,, One of the dumbest motherf***ers ever, but he should have a job in the NHL for life. When the Sharks are done with him, the remaining tankers need to step up and make a bid on him.

As much as I've slagged the shit out of Gerard Gallant on here, is it any wonder that the Rangers come back from the dead after they've purged the organization of this LOSER? Dude has a been a hockey coach forever and didn't even get an NHL head coaching job until he was 50-something years old. And it came from a team that sent a letter to its fans before the end of the prior year that they were going to suck for a couple of years. He had one random year in his coaching career where he was an assistant for Colorado (the lockout shortened year no less) right in the middle. And he missed the playoffs 2 of 3 years as an AHL head coach (were Lake Erie already the Jackets affiliate between 09-12?)

David Quinn is just an idiot. THANK GOD the Sharks hired him and not Brunette, as I could have EASILY saw him as the assistant in Brunette's spot for this year, as him and Lindy Ruff coached together for a couple years on the Rangers.

I can already hear him in his baritone, thick New England accent (you would NEVER expect his voice to sound like that by looking at him) telling me ''Oh yeah? Ya think Todd is a loosah, de ya? Ya think Da Baw sucked? Ya think Boogieman sucked? I got somtin faw ya''.

By the way, I never really had a problem with Boughner as the Sharks head coach. I understand why he was fired, so they could BLOW IT UP, but I didn't particularly dislike him as a head coach. And they did him dirty with the timing of his firing too. I could tell you there's A LOT of people who were pissed that he was canned as late into the offseason as he was.

I took a look at the upcoming schedule today for the first time since the winning streak and I was surprised at one thing. Including this SJ game, we have 16 games this month and February and only 4 of those against Metro teams and only 5 in total against the East.

Nice to see Haula where he belongs but you know it won't end up that way for the whole game

They only did a top #5 and it was more of your "tough guys" in the sense of PIMS, fighting and hitting.

They ranked:

#5 Jim McKenzie
#4 Troy Crowder
#3 Randy McKay
#2 Dano
#1 Stevens
Daneyko wasn't as tough as any of those players if we are being honest. Oliwa deserves an Honorable Mention too.
