I think he's gonna have to take a page out of McLeod's book and recognize his skill isn't up to the level of an average NHLer. He'll have to make some adjustments to his game if he wants to stick in the NHL as a bottom-6er. I think more than anything he needs to spend his entire offseason getting faster.

Mason Marchment’s skating was worse when he was Foote’s age and he playing in the ECHL because of it. I don’t know if we can do player development as well as teams like the Leafs but I would like to get there.
