This system is quite something. Even with lead, the dmen are always pinching up to attempt to break up plays in the neutral zone. It requires a lot of synergy between forwards and dmen. When it works, it’s a thing of beauty but there will always be the odd breakdown each game. While we often have the lead, this team is perfect when giving up the first goal. They bounce back quickly. But, even some of the games where we score first, this team comes out a little sluggish and gives up some chances. A few games that come to mind are at Vancouver, at Montreal, and home to Calgary. We don’t get the early big saves in those, who knows what happens.

Generally not a retribution guy, at least not in the regular season, but I think the playbook on us will inevitably be to escalate physically.

If you answer, it's to cut off precedent. At the same time, as we saw with Calgary, it didn't do them that much good and it's exhausting against a fast team.

No it really isn't. Ask Chris Neal ...poor Dean McAmmond still has part of Pronger"s elbow in his skull because of Chris Neal...Neal pipped down rather quickly in those SCF's

This would've been better analogy if you said Spezza or Fisher, Dean McAmmond really? Lmao

If anything you go back at Watson. You do not under any circumstances go after say Stutzle or Sanderson. That's just inviting them to really target Jack, Bratt, Nico

I don't think I've seen any Ryan Reynolds movies, other than Van Wylder or whatever it was called.

It wasn't my choice in movie to watch, but my then-girlfriend's. I just remember her fast forwarding boob parts because she was wildly insecure that I might have saw some girl's boobs on TV.

She's the one who picked it out to watch it, not me.

Yeah get your pound of flesh in the last five minutes unless Watson is too big a weenie to go on the ice then go after one of their best players if he is

Also not trusting the refs, they can see us going after their stars and make it a penalty to show both teams to cut that shit. Last thing we need is to give Ottawa a major on something stupid.

Ya know, for the first 2 periods it felt like we didn't miss a single pass. Now it feels like we can't complete one.
