i honestly don’t know what other teams can do against this. there’s multiple devils swarming every loose puck, and our speed is unmatched. the sens can’t even get set up.

Calgary's strategy of just ramping the physicality up to 11 seems like the most effective strategy, but TBH not a lot of teams can play that way.

Plus it didn't work for Calgary in the end.

I never said the 2021-2022 Devils were good. I'm just saying goaltending torpedoed them into being a lot worse than they were. Obviously the goals for had to increase for this team but that wasn't the main issue with this roster.

I don't think so. I think goaltending was not good and their play made it worse.

You can't play wide open up tempo hockey and be below average in Goals. To be up tempo you have to give up more... it's inevitable. So you have defensively unaware young forwards playing a go-go style with a platoon of banged up, bad or inexperienced goaltenders that literally never had a goal cushion and you have a recipe for disaster.

I don't see that as a goaltending issues
