Arguably the most important game of the year and it’s tied going into the third.

The vibes in here are so f***ing off.

so bahl is 6'6" with the puck on his forehand and can use the goal as leverage, yet hes afraid of a guy chasing him 6 ft away so he blindly tosses it back behind net

Well we know we'll go on the pk in the third since Buffalo has three penalties and we have none, which is against the game management rules. Since that's an auto goal against we need to score twice.

Kevin bahl is just another guy

Doesn’t play defense, doesn’t transition and makes bonehead mistakes, isn’t physical and doesn’t provide offense

I like his story more than Siegenthaler's, so I want to keep him around. Unfortunately for me, Siegenthaler is in fact not playing in this game. I can't blame him.

I hope he’s the healthy scratch most nights next year. He’s massively sunk with what they’ve given him this year.

He’s fine for depth, but I would either trade for whatever or non-tender when this contract ends in 2025. He isn’t worth any kind of a raise. He’s a guy we need to weed out after next year in order to maximize cap space.

With a wide open Timo in front of him, that play was even worse than was described lol...like dude, wtf are you even thinking?! Wide open guy in front, but no let's drop pass off to the trailing SABRE behind the net.

That play by Bahl is top five one of the stupidest decisions I’ve ever seen from a devils d-man. Literally could have just easily shuffled it right to the forward on his forehand. Somebody interrogate him for improper wagering against his own team or some shit.

It's only a matter of time before that shit happens for real...it's just a matter of who's desperate enough to do it, and who's stupid enough to get caught. Likely won't be a star unless they're getting blackmailed with something other than money.

I’m fine with trading Bahl as part of a package for a winger to play with Jack (presuming Holtz is gone) or goalie (Saros or Ullmark). Siegs and Bahl are somewhat redundant on this team. Siegs had been bad this year but if he’s slotted back to 3D where he was two seasons ago and excelled, he should be fine.

You're not getting the winger you think by trading Bahl. It's Siegenthaler you want to trade. He has more value than Bahl.

That shit was legit baffling enough to seriously wonder if it wasn’t actually a “mistake”.
