Anaheim was playing better too. It’s not an excuse, these are bad hockey teams and that we’re not more dominant against them is pretty alarming,

If this was happening in one or two games that would be one thing, but it's been a CONSTANT trend for the last 6 or 7 games.

Especially in the 3rd period.

And I've been shitting on them all night, but they've been HORROR-BAD (like the San Jose Sharks thread on the mainboard lol) this period.

We've constantly made these JOKE teams look great in the 3rd period. They just glue us in our end like we're on a glue trap.

I feel like the system where you cover the middle eventually leads to the defense sagging down too far over time. NJ looks way too much like Ruff system at this point. They are completely surrendering the perimeter and just sagging down

I would say Dowling screws up less than Mercer. Mercer has better upside, but the number of missed handles from Merc Dawg can be infuriating.
