I don't think it's mental. There's not a single part of his game that has even shown to be above average besides being pretty good around the net and getting open for tap ins. The tools are just not there.

Back to back CHL POTY of the year in his D-1 and DY. 10 pts in 5 WJC games in his DY. It's insane he's managed to translate this poorly. His production through 3 years is literally worse than Yak and this is a higher scoring era too.

Clarke is very limited in his tools. The problem with Nolan and Tyce is they will not face a lot of NHL minutes for develop their game. May be one of them, but they are behind everything we have in the roster.
