He's too slow for the league, he's soft, and he gets caught out of position constantly in the defensive zone. These have always been his struggles, and he hasn't improved on them. At best he's a power play specialist NHLer, and you can't really carry someone like that unless you have a first pairing that can eat 26-30 minutes per game.
