To be fair we had people complaining about Ranger fans liking posts in a Devils GDT after it was shut last year, and it kind of is against the rules as a passive form of trolling, but it’s also like why are people even checking posts in a locked GDT to see who likes them?
Probably because that person is getting notifications of laughing emoji reactions to his posts.

Tbh, I would like it if HFBoards did not allow for any "reactions" when a thread is locked/closed but that's just me.

I had to rewatch that absolutely gorgeous first period with the Panther feed. The announcers were awed.

Sticks on pucks, everyone in position, taking the body, very few turnovers, lots of takeaways, standing up at the blueline, special teams play, winning board battles, blocks in passing lanes, Allen saw everything and other than the Boquist goal, had nothing to do... And then our talent was abundant all over the ice.

We were a tough team to play against and if that's how it's going to be I am elated.

Listening to Maurice say that we beat their system, but that they have adjustments they make against different teams was interesting to me in that I have just wanted to see a Devils team be able to successfully PLAY their own system for the past years... If we can get to a point where we can actually morph it, I don't see how we aren't walking away with a cup with this team.

Luke finally looked comfortable and tried to take over a game last night. Him missing camp and pre-season def screwed him.

Still despise that 4th line. It's atrocious and Dougie and Dillon are a defensive nightmare, where as Siegs and Kovy are rocks back there but are offensive blackholes.

photoshop labor camp somewhere in MN
I’m just picturing that GDT where it was 1 fan posting and responding to him/herself the entire time
That was the Minnesota Wild GDT iirc because they already had an online chat forum established elsewhere so almost no fans came to HF and that guy carried the full emotions of the game all solo posting for historical reasons I suppose lol.

yeah and that was stupid too, tbh

(obviously children are a bit different in actuality, for a whole host of reasons, but man if you can’t handle somebody liking your posts on HF it’s time to Log Off)

It was such a weak unsportsmanlike.

Jack goes over to shove a guy and the other guy turns it into a full on slam to the ice.

Guys can literally punch another guy in the face after the whistle and not get a call at times but Jack going to bump a guy and then the other guy turning it into a big thing was a bridge too far for the ref.
I thought it was a good call.

Clearly after the whistle and Jack goes full on shoulder check into the boards.

Jack is barely bumping him and the other guy decides to throw his arms around Jack’s neck and pull him to the ground. The energy came from the other guy dragging them both down, if the other guy just stood there it would have been nothing.

If that’s unsportsmanlike then most games should feature 2 or 3 of them. Some games would end up with like 10. every post whistle scrum would need to have one.

Front of the net stuff is viewed different. But even then, this was so far after the play that it's not comparable to a typical front of the net scrum.

I like the play from a Devils/Hughes perspective, show that push back, be a bit of a dick physically, but it was a fairly called penalty imo.

The guy grabbing Jack is was a modest reaction to a cheap shot by Hughes imo.
