Would be great if our 9M defenseman knew how to play defense.

And stating the obvious, but letting Boqvist walk was a big mistake. He's a capable middle 6 forward with speed and skill. We need more of those, not less.

Middle six forwards at 26 years old don’t normally spend half of last season in the AHL and then go to a new team to make league minimum.

Boqvist is fine but he’s basically just a guy.

Holy f***, some of you guys are unbearable. Our bottom line is f***ing atrocious while the Panthers are getting legit minutes from Boqvist and you're somewhat complaining he wouldn't help here

Every time some borderline, 6 minutes a night, Utica callup does anything agains us, this place goes insane.

The Bruins didn't think much of him either and they have Zacha as their 1st line center, so they seem to love our old junk and put them in prime positions.

Vitek and Blackwood are the 1 and 2 goalies in San Jose. playing huge minutes. Blackwood shut us out. Want them back?

The problem is that you can't keep everyone. The decision wasn't to have our 4th line get hurt and throw those guys out there. It was to bring in other guys like maybe Cotter and Noesen and Tatar. A 4th line of Tatar/Lazar/Nate is semi serviceable.

Because you don’t “miss” irrelevant players that don’t contribute to winning, don’t play on special teams, and wouldn’t be in a healthy playoff lineup. He’s a guy.

having just a guy at league min would be helpful with the devils forward depth instead of the two drags the devils have right now. and boqvist plays PK for Florida

is it an earth shattering thing - no but he's better than a couple of the guys the Devils have been icing as regulars the last two seasons like Tierney, Dowling, Macdermid
