They normally don’t have a police escort, but where they stayed at the beach and not the doubletree 5 minutes from here, they probably needed to rush through all the traffic. Fort Lauderdale beach is probably at least 50-60 minutes from here on a weekday in rush hour.

They pull under the building so you can’t see anybody get out unless you’re down there with them.

That’s a famously successful tirade. They won that game as part of a 6 game win streak that got them into the 22-23 playoffs by one point.

The soft schedule also helped here but they had regulation losses to Flyers and Sens in a losing streak right before that.
