His work down low is really elite. Wins battles, digs out loose pucks, quick stick and hands in front of the net, solid shot. He really can do whatever you need him to.

He’s Clarkson on performance enhancers.

The most surprising part, and his overall game is very surprising, is his passing. Has had some great looking passes thus far.

Color me shocked at how good he has been.

I know they don't have much salary cap space left, but there are internal solutions that are better than what they have out there now. MacDermid should sit unless we play a Metro team. Bring up Bowers to play center. He won't wow anyone but brings speed. I'd like to see Foote come up too. He'll bring some size and grit. Has a nice shot, and he's running out of time to prove himself. Time to step up?!

Ideally, they need someone who can win face-offs and play on the PK. Some grit would be nice. Bonus would be a player with speed. Probably from a trade, as those on waivers would be picked up before the devils can sign them.
