Same for me. If the NFL follows through and makes Sunday Ticket online-only, they are asking for big trouble. Online is the future for sure, but it's not yet the present. There will be latency problems that will render in-game betting useless a la ESPN+ (Amanda Stein twitter can clock in at 2 minutes ahead of the ESPN+feed) and there will be both video & audio issues. Linear TV is not perfect, but it's night and day better than online in 2022. I understand the economics of exclusivity, but until +/-2027 there needs to be a choice of linear or online-- the product quality is just too inconsistent online and that wont change overnight.
If you are live betting and aren’t at the game you are already well behind. There is a latency with over the air tv as well which is different for each affiliate. I have Sunday Ticket though Directv and if I can only watch one of the games though the CBS or Fox channel I can see a play almost a good 30 seconds (basically a full play) on Red Zone Channel/mix channel than on CBS or Fox.

I do love how that Edm poster was the first to come and try to refute stuff in this GDT, and now that some Devils posters are going over there after the fact they are up in arms. Delusional.

But that's coming from a board that uses "a bunch of first overall picks with nothing to show for it," as an insult unironically. So it adds up.

Ugh why is anyone going over there. Nothing good ever comes of that.

I have no idea, but people say stuff that is 100% wrong and/or makes no sense about the other team in literally every GDT. Us and everyone else. Just read through randomly sometime, any GDT of an opposing team, you'll have you finger hovering over the reply button, but like most, know better. They did cross no mans land first though, so that's on them. Still pointless either way.

OH MY GOD....

Why was one of the things you New Jersey people had to share with the world is that stupid "Cars for kids" commercial. Why did it branch out to Canada?!?!?

Nooooooooo

Nooooooooo

Especially since most people would rather trade kids for cars.

Ugh it's literally the lamest, squarest thing anyone can do on HFboards. The main board is for clashing with other fanbases. Team boards can and should be able to trash talk all they want.
The oddest part are the vigilant Devils fans who never come over here.

Yes, for sure. But a nice tight band on NFLST on DTV (and Im no fan-boy of DTV, who is?). I've seen as high as 40 seconds. But usually in the 20-30 range. It' starts to become a problem when team's are in hurry-up, that's for sure.

ESPN+ NHL, otoh, is a minimum 70-80 seconds for me. Usually more.

The acid test for me is Twitter. If Twitter is beating my TV, then there's a problem. I've noticed it more for Devils away games this year than previous years. Amanda for the Devils and Roch Kubatko for the Orioles (Im an Orioles fan) are consistently ahead of linear TV by a few seconds. But they're *very* attentive. I imagine them both having Tweet-Deck open with multiple tweets written and ready to go and choose which one to give a tiny edit to and then send depending on the outcome.
