Out of 208 Dmen that have played 100 minutes this year Dougie has the 9th worst GA/60 and 20th worst xGA/60. We're not quick to throw him in the trash. He's just bad.

Dougie’s not going anywhere right now and everyone’s hoping he’ll get better but he’s infuriating right now.

Not having a functional 4th line sucks and Palat is a non-entity but those are minor issues.

The Dougie-Dillon pair being absolute sieves who pretty much give up more high danger chances than any other pair in the NHL is driving me crazy lol.

And it’s a car accident that we have to watch game after game.

He hasn't been good defensively, but the points are still there, and the rush up the ice is still there

But we are still near top in the league and top in the conference and I don't think putting someone like Casey in or Nemec instead for Dougie is gonna make us a better team. Just one of those things.

Our record without Dougie when he was injured wasn't very good last season, and the season 2 before when he broke his jaw....

Would be curious to see our record without him during his contract here.

There are prospects coming up who can provide a decent amount of the offense that Dougie gives but at 1/10th the cost. Spending 9 million on that skill is a little bit superfluous and not the best use of the money.
