Going for the 4peat, against a former organizational piece, with everyone looking down a barrel at this team? This should be like a 4-1 clean and easy win.

Lose this and I’ll believe maybe we are worse than previous iteration and even a game 7 isn’t guaranteed this time
 
Nylander - "Doesn't really matter if they boo" is what gets fan upset. As fans, we are heavily invested into the team and the least they can do is actually "care".

Willie is as dilutional as Marner if he thinks he is putting in a full game. I can see him saying the same thing in the playoffs. "It’s only been three games. What’s the big deal Bro, really?"

I found the solution to this years ago during the 2013 collapse. Care less. I haven't bought a jersey since Colton Orr was on the team. I use to go to multiple games a year, now I go once a year at most. At the end of the day, I told myself "its entertainment", I just have to remind myself sometimes.

Nylander is as big a clown as Marner and Matthews. You are correct about us fans. They seem to forget that fans pay their exorbitant salaries.
 
Nylander just spit in the fans' faces like that? Wow. Surely the "toughest market in the WORLDDD" will have something to say about it and won't just pretend he didn't say it. :popcorn:
 
Caber as a coaches decision ? Does that mean he's cleared and its whether or not he has a place in the roster lol. Or is Berube the doctor. I think he should sit more. 2 bad hits to head in like 6 weeks.

While money is important, the frustration is we see players not giving, lack of desire, lack of heart, lack of team. If you earn league minimum you get sent down. If you get paid a great deal, nothing is done.
 
This entire organization is delusional

We've been extremely average for a lot of this season, offensively we look completely lost and our PP is a smoking crater of suckage
Defensively were better but we're still giving up enough scoring opportunities that we don't actually deserve to win a lot of the games we were playing

The thing we had going for us was extremely good goaltending, that's fallen off and we look completely lost and the comments from the players and coaching staff boarder on madness right now

Honestly i'm seriously concerned, I don't think our new system suits the talent on the team and I worry this might start to spiral

Definitely tone deaf of Nylander to pull the "we got this card." It certainly only has been a 3 game losing streak, but also 9 years of boy band hockey.

They'll probably lose a couple more games before they hit true rock bottom. They were backsliding quite a bit during the latter part of the winning streak after Christmas and that reality didn't quite line up with the losing.

My prediction is some combination of a sleep walk game, probably losing to NJ. An all business approach but they may or may not win, and finally just a desperation style let's turn the page kind of win. This could go 5-6.
