Palat is doing a bit of what Tatar did last season. He’s almost always in the correct spot and almost always makes a good decision. But his hands let him down at times and so it looks clunky.

It’s really nuts watching how often 2 or 3 Devils are covering nothing while 1-2 guys skate like mad behind the puck.

The skating guys are wasting all their energy so they can get next to the puck carrier but not actually engage them.
