Nico played almost 23 minutes and took 29 faceoffs lol jfc the other 3 centers only took 27 combined.

I'll never accept any Nico slander from anyone ever again. Dude is a horse and Keefe knows it. Trusts him in every single situation, deservedly so.

He's such a throwback type of player who can do everything well. He's the last player I could ever worry about for any reason.

Didn’t watch the game and tell me I’m wrong but the highlights make it seem as if it wasn’t a great performance despite the W, save for Marky.

We didn't play poorly, but it was far from a perfect game. There were stretches that we didn't allow the Kraken much of anything at all offensively, but when breakdowns happened, they were really high danger opportunities. Marky didn't have to face a ton of shots, but boy he made the saves he made count.

In my opinion, the team is making a few more riskier plays than they had been because the offense is not coming to them as easily as it might have been before. Keefe continues to implore in his pressers and post game locker room speech that they need to eliminate the things good teams do not do. I think this was a better step in that direction compared to how I heard the San Jose game went (wasn't able to watch that one).

We need Nico healthy!! Maybe see how the powerplay does without him taking faceoffs on it, thatd help his TOI a bit

I never liked Dougie, to be clear. His memes, funny videos, etc never landed with me because I dislike him that much, it's bad. Again, he's one of the most selfish players I've seen this organization tolerate. I also found great pride clowning the Siegenthaler-Dougie pairing back in 2023. Some people thought they were a championship pairing in 2024? 🤡 I've had to discuss this pairing with free-website-statisticians, and I just gave up.

People forget we were leaking 2 on 1s well before Dougie was hurt in 2024.

On Palat, I totally agree, a few goals fom him are always appreciated. He works too hard for me to 'hate' him, he's The Little Engine That Could.
People think Dougie is the problem on this team in 2025

First paragraph tells you all you need to know about your unreasonable dislike for the guy.

Dougie led basically every chart analytic yesterday and still gets shit, poor guy

I get being down on Dougie for his play recently, but I don't get where you are inferring this "most selfish players you've ever seen this team tolerate". Im just wondering where you see that, or where you get that from because I do not get those vibes at all...

Dougie seems like a genuinely good guy outside of this team and with this team since he has been here. Are you getting this from prior teams?

so like 20% of Markstrom's saves were incredible.

I like Markstrom, don't love him. I'm happy we made the trade. But seeing those highlights from last night - lets me know he's got some elite goaltending still in him. And that makes me happy.

Kakko had a fantastic game. He had many great passes and looks

Rags are idiots

Give it time and see how his career plays out. He's still relatively very young and a cjanfe of scenery seems like it can fo just about any player some good. If he turns into a 60ish point player than the Rags might regret the deal.
Ya but Borg scored for the Rags against the Hawks! #worth
