I can’t speak for the team but around my office and seeing some school pages, a bad stomach bug has been traveling around NJ. So who knows if it found its way into the team before they left for the trip.

There were signs of the good Devils returning tonight. Thought they looked sharp offensively but still some things to iron out defensively. A step in the right direction leading into another matchup with the Rangers.

Devils need to start finishing at a higher rate. The dam should break soon just on luck alone.

One thing I don’t like is taking the puck back into the zone in dangerous situations. That was nonexistent in December. I’d like to see that responsible game come back, and I think it will happen soon.

Also, I am looking forward to some forward acquisitions from Fitz. I can see him pulling the trigger soon with Haula out.

Give it time and see how his career plays out. He's still relatively very young and a cjanfe of scenery seems like it can fo just about any player some good. If he turns into a 60ish point player than the Rags might regret the deal.
