I wonder if the officials took offense at Keefe's comments about their shoddy work during the second Carolina game, and we're not going to get the benefit of the doubt on anything for a bit.

Considering that we know (and I mean that literally because of the Tim Peel revelations) that the league officiating makes calls based on their emotions and the state of the games, I would not be surprised by this.

The league makes this a thing too because nothing officiating related is ever discussed. This should be aired out. They also should be forthcoming when the officials make a major mistake - other leagues do this. You can't change the outcome of a game but you could say that the officials erred and Meier was not guilty etc. But Buttman never does this. The league (e.g., the NHL itself not the players) is a dumpster fire of rapist old-boys club losers.

Starting with the Avs game they're 2/27 coming into this. 23rd in PP GF/60 since. 5v5 only slightly better at 21st. They're just not good enough offensively

Our powerplay entry has become so predictable to the point where everyone peels away from the puck carrier when he enters the zone because everyone knows he's looking to drop a pass.

There's no fear of the guy who's moving at top speed will actually continue to take that speed to the net
