Mercer's getting unfairly shit on. He's not a problem. Cotter is really really f***ing bad. I'm willing to give Haula rope as he was at least good in the past and Cotter-Haula is such a bad duo. Cotter needs to be tried with Jack-Bratt to see if you can get anything out of him.

Mercer is a nice player I'd put him with Jack and Bratt, better than stone hands old as f*** Palat. Mercer has enough skill to keep up with the stars and he used to be a dog chasing down pucks

We knew why...and so did Fitz.

Can't lose a core player overnight and not replace him. He had the entire offseason. He had priorities, namely on defense and goaltending, I get it. 3C was an obvious major hole.

Like I said, I honestly think we'll see a lot of new faces in the bottom 6 next season, much like the defense this season.

There's no doubt in my mind we'll see Haula shipped off to Utah or whatever other bozo team likes cap dumps. Montreal, whatever.

Lazar and Bastian probably walk, which sucks cause they're fine, but they'll probably get paid more elsewhere.
