I’m not sure if that’s been the case his entire career, but him underwhelming has been the case his entire career.

The Jake Allen we’ve seen this season is basically Jake Allen playing like Jake Allen. Not Jake Allen playing less like Jake Allen.

Save for a couple of really good isolated seasons, like his last year in St. Louis (riding shotgun to Binnington) he’s been very mediocre to average.

This schedule blows. We're the ONLY game on January 1st, the 2025 winter classic wasn't even on January 1st or played in 2025 at all, and we also played last night. And we're the only team that's played half of our schedule after today.
