1st has always been a huge longshot. I'm just praying for 2nd. Playing the Canes already is a bit of a nightmare. Canes with home ice is nearly a death sentence.

Kings broadcast showed replay of Jacks chance on the PP . Clapper was well placed . Hit very bottom of Keumpers glove and went between his legs … 1/16” inch down and it’s in.

Maybe a 4 on 4 goal, but we've been HORRIBLE at any mad advantage situation for a while now. Including whatever that 6 on 5 was last night.

I'm not sure how we're still 2nd on the power play in the league. Maybe we aren't getting a whole lot of opportunities for that to really sink? And we were also in first by a ton at one point.

I'm not sure if they have or not but they only really had 1 weapon, Dougie's shot. The other weapon this season was addition of Noesen. You take those 2 out and their pp is useless

He’s no worse than any other player tonight. They all have had their issues. None of them have been great. That’s the problem. If even one guy had a good night they are easily wining this game

I'm not even that mad at Mercer. He's playing with two guys that are either ON a 16 game pointless streak or just got off a pointless streak that long ago.

I'm pretty sure Haula is done this time. He'll be the cap dump this offseason, barring a huge second half.

I think a lot of us were worried about the third year.
