To me , Palat is lookig better each game , Shara was good and noticeable in a good way.
I think getting Bastian and Marino back is going to be a bigger boost than we think.
Once Palat Bastian and Marink are fully back and up to speed , I feel like another large win streak is coming and we can take over the lead in the Metro !

I like Wood and he helped us win some games earlier in the season but we can also move on from him too.
Even if you want to argue against him not very aging poorly pretty quickly, I don’t see how gets any better and he’s not worth a penny more than he’s making currently.
He’s an energy bottom six winger with poor defensive metrics who doesn’t PK and shouldn’t be on the PP.
He has really nice elements to his game because he’s a speedy physical disruptive energy forward and he scores a nice number of goals.
I’d rather have other, cheaper, guys fill that role than give Wood any sort of raise even though I have a lot a of sentimental attachment to the guy.
The team really likes Wood, but they also have been pretty cost conscious, so I’m curious what they do with him.

Don't know about any of that but I think that once Bastian gets back, Wood becomes useful again.
It seems like the Combo of Wood/Bastian/Mcleod is better as one than they are separately.
We are winning which is good ....Mac had a real good game and they need to go back to VTEK for San Jose keep making Mack compete for crease time....As far as all the Miles Wood bashing enough already...Was it a stupid penalty he took Yes get over it....He brings speed and size and lights a fire under the team when needed....Guy always plays hard we need that on this team and never complains about playing on the fourth line....Once Bastian returns that line wil be whole and will click again.
Yegor had 22 shifts and 15 minutes last night. He hasn't had more than 22 shifts in 20 games. Hasn't played more than 15 min in 8 games.
Clearly shows they are getting a little more confidence in him... and two games in a row they moved him up to the top 6 (and Haula down) and he has 3 assists and is a +3 in those two games.
I hope this is the beginning of a nice stretch for him.

I have really noticed him the last couple of games and I thnk he deserves more ice and a spot in the top 6 for now.

Saying it again but I like Foote. Apart from the obvious lack of speed, he's a heady player, had some nice moments along the boards, has a threatening shot, is very willing around the net.
It doesn't seem right but if they walk away from Wood, I could see Foote end up being way more productive and defensively stronger in that 4LW role.
