Jack, Hischier, Bratt, and probably Luke are going to completely rewrite the franchise record book when they’re finished.
Dowlings game has definitely improved and grown on me. But he still doesn’t bring much and is far from a guy I’d hesitate to bring out of the lineup. Lazar can bring more.Love him back, but I do like Dowlings game
I just noticed that Mercer's goal against Carolina in the last game was his 150th career point.
150 points ties Mercer with Dave Andreychuk for #49 in All Time Devil point leaders.
And Also Nico just passed Jamie Langenbrunner at #15 in All Time Devil points. Nico is currently #14 and only 7 points away from Petr Sykora at #13.
Jesper Bratt is only 5 points from tying Zach Parise for #10 All Time Devil points leaders
Also I always complain about commercials...so I'll tell you about one I like.
I think the NHL "tipping" commercial is a pretty novel one.
In case you haven't seen it l:
Another semi interesting stat...not one active Devil is in the top 50 PIM leaders. Bastian is the highest on the list at #80 and 149 PIM's. He's just below Zidlicky's 150
Brian Gionta is #50 with 227 PIM's
Nico is top 10 All Time goal scoring in Devil history with 154 career goals for #9 All Time . He just moved past Randy McKay 151 and Brian Gionta 152 career Devil goals
I feel like it just means we’re going to lose tonightPositive Jim on the Devils Core makes for a Happy HFBoard!

Something like that. It's all a run-up for a big weekend post-game forum battle?
Palat has 9 pts in his last 12 games
his daughter came home from the NICU on 11/24. That was 15 games ago.
Dowling deserves props for solidifying that bottom 6 role and not getting caved in nightly. It could've gone south badly in that part of the roster and he did a good job.

Facts aren't positive or negative?
That's why I like the All Time list so much. They are simple. Sure you can muddy the waters with discussions of era, league wide scoring or whatever...but I see it more of a simple way to acknowledge the organizational standouts throughout time.
Maybe the acknowledgement of these players climbing the list is positive? Maybe, I don't know? But it was more of a rabbit hole from Mercer's 150th career point as a Devil vs Carolina last game
He hasn't played a NHL game since January 18th 2023 for the Penguins.Today I learned Ty Smith plays for the Canes and is a healthy scratch today.
Ty Smith is playing tonight.
We know who Jack is going around.Ty Smith is playing tonight.
