They have done it at least once before, can't remember if they have since but don't think so and since we tend to lose in Detroit when they switch the uniforms up, also wore the black helmets with the white jerseys there last year and lost maybe they decided to stop messing with it lol

I’m guessing both teams run out their other goalie tonight because of the back to back. Kochetkov was bad last night, and I’m pretty sure Tokarski is worse. Hopefully Allen is solid enough to give us the advantage in net again.

Allen has been garbage truck bad his last 3 or 4 games, but Tokarski is AHL certified junk at this point. I can’t think he’s anything better than fourth string caliber anymore.

Probably because he pretty much is their fourth string with their third stringer (Martin) injured.

Actually, I think he’s probably their fifth string, as he was sitting at home eating on his couch eating Doritos for most of the fall.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they came back with Kochetkov tonight to try and keep up with us.

But seriously, I hope Fitz and the video team are cutting up a reel to send to the league. Didn’t Lou use to do that? I know every fan base complains and think the refs are out to get them but this stretch has been ridiculously one-sided.

He's had a .920 or better SV% in 6 games and a .870 or worse SV% in the other 5. Either great or dogshit games so far this season for him - no in between.

Hopefully the good Allen shows up tonight. Absolutely the right move starting him though as we've got to play the long game with Markstrom and make sure he's healthy and reasonably rested for the playoffs.

Yeah, I see no reason to play Markstrom or the same goalie two nights in a row with where we are.

if by cool you mean different then yes, it would be different. the only time i would support this is to wear them in chicago to confuse the fans
