I’ve been a Markstrom supporter but man he looks unstable but their guy is no better

Mostly everyone here has been a Markstrom fan for large parts of the season, but he has let this team down the last 2 games so far.

Leaky shit. Like 3 leaky goals in 5 goals

I can't even believe that this team couldn't keep a 3 goal lead. Honestly feels surreal and is quite the representation of our whole season.

Part of me would be pissed if they lost, but the other part of me would be so f***ing relieved. This team has brought so many of us down. Man, what a horrible season.

All that will be talked about is the undermanned lineup.

But the undermanned lineup scored 4 and is playing pretty well, other than being really bad at killing penalties.

Markstrom is a ticking time bomb right now. He’s ducking, he’s sliding all over the place. He’s letting out a huge rebound instead of covering the puck on a fairly low percentage shot. He’s cancelling out icings for Carolina.

He looks about as engaged as he did in Pittsburgh in that game in March or that home game late in the regular season against Boston.

He's been bad since the OT in Game 3, if Carolina had any pressure they would've won it. That 3rd period destroyed him in a bad way for the rest of the series I think

Does anyone ever look at the game to see if the refs are doing the sort of stuff that leads to game fixing?

Markstrom is an .881% in 17 games since coming back from injury.

That’s not including tonight.

It’s not as bad as the .860% I thought it was.

The refs really changed the momentum of this game. Then, unfortunately, Marky imploded.

I wanna say the refs have their whistles swallowed, but they got Rod firmly down their throats for the entire series, maybe thats why they can't blow the whistle for actual penalties that those inbred on Carolina are committing?

The only goals that definitely weren’t bad were the 5 on 3 goal tonight and I think the 3rd Canes goal last game.

Funny how we are almost never on the receiving end of BS calls but refs love to make phantom calls against us. It’s criminal.

Whether it’s a bad goal or something he has no chance on, even if it’s a BS goal that should come back for goalie interference, he’s given himself and the team no more margin for error with all the junk that got past him on the first 3 goals.

Canes are crying about a pick play yet they dive and arguably get EVERY call at home, lol

They have been like that since 2001. Rod started it and they have kept it since then. It's their culture.

I’ve never been a conspiracy theorist but sometimes you have to wonder. Does the league even look into the BS we are seeing tonight?! This is NFL Kansas City Chiefs level officiating Carolina is getting tonight.
