Fitz gets no blame for injuries on defense. But he needs to answer for the horrible forward depth on this team.

You will never see a GM in your lifetime have as many resources as Fitz had and manage to turn a team from young, fast and stacked to old, slow and overpaid.

It was a fun season. Can't wait to watch Devils hockey again in October!

This season was frustrating, suckie and boring at times IMO.

I got a little bitter in the end here and it is not the way I normally act or was brought up, just a little frustrated with seeing that energetic team 2 years ago we had wither away to this slop again.

I also felt the TV crew spent too much effort trying to sell us how great the team was this year. All we need is fair analysis.

I will be here again next season with a positive attitude hoping for a good one.
