They were DOA in this series as is with Jack, now if they're out Pesce/Siegs and it's 5 out of their 6 dmen in a normal healthy lineup, what can you ask for besides close games? Keefe has been dumb this series in some ways but Scotty Bowman or Al Arbour isn't winning this series with this lineup

Noesen has been one of the bigger disappointments this series, thought he'd relish the fact they play Carolina but he's been ass cheeks. Him and Cotter.
Wow, it's almost like playing a 32 year old 3+ minutes more a game than he has his entire career can result in a drop off in play. Especially since Noesen has always been known for his elite cardio and physique. Totally unforeseeable.

He was mediocre for the Canes in the playoffs the past few years regardless, he's too slow to play in this format 5v5

I’m not sure even they were that bad off and they were also late IN THE THIRD ROUND of the playoffs by then
They were really bad off. And if I remember correctly they lost game 7 partially due to one of their defensemen getting a puck over the glass penalty near the end of the game. I.e everyone expected no penalties called at the time but he got the one that you had to call.

These dudes better have serious injuries if they can't tough it out for an elimination game. I've never seen a team get so injured and not be able to play through any of it in the playoffs. It's insanity.

Okay but if we lose I'm roasting the f*** out Tom Fitzgerald.

Actually no. Because I hope some chucklef*** from the team is reading this.

Because ladies and gentlemen, we are talking about Tom Fitzgerald! The man who somehow managed to land a GM job despite having the strategic mind of a broken pencil.

Remember, when you think of "elite hockey minds," you definitely think of a guy who’s made a career out of throwing darts at a board while blindfolded.

And when I think of leadership, I surely think of a guy whose career highlights are "getting hired", "still being employed'' and ''drafting Jack Hughes'', a move so basic not even Mike Millbury could screw it up.

This dude’s the General Manager of the Devils, and somehow, the only thing he’s managed to build is a team full of promising players who’ve been cursed with the worst GM in the league. It's like putting a Ferrari engine in a Pinto. Yeah, it looks good at first, but good luck when it hits a speed bump.

How the f*** can this team be so injury riddled every goddamn year?

It feels virtually impossible to be excited and enthusiastic about this team. There’s always some black cloud of issues.
