The 1st period no show was heartbreaking. I understand it’s all hands on deck but Nose should have been benched. I also don’t see Nico as the type to call out individual players.

He’s not but that’s one of the many times they’ve needed a prick in the room to call everyone out and we’ve not had that in ages

I now understand the term gallows humor chuckling at the absurdity of this predicament FOUR GAMES INTO THE PLAYOFFS

It's tempting to say "get this over with already" but I got my taste of playoff hockey and I want more. At the very least, I'm confident we'll get a hell of an effort, which I wasn't even certain we'd get going in.

For crying out loud, it's possibly the last game of the season. Pump them full of painkillers until they can't feel emotions anymore and send them out to play. That's what a real playoff team does. It isn't like Carolina have looked like worldbeaters this series. Who knows? It could only cost them their lives and they got that for free.

(that last sentence is a quote and a joke, please don't take it seriously and jump down my throat)

I’m not sure even they were that bad off and they were also late IN THE THIRD ROUND of the playoffs by then
 
They were DOA in this series as is with Jack, now if they're out Pesce/Siegs and it's 5 out of their 6 dmen in a normal healthy lineup, what can you ask for besides close games? Keefe has been dumb this series in some ways but Scotty Bowman or Al Arbour isn't winning this series with this lineup
