I tend to think the rested team gets better as the game goes on compared to the team that played the night before so the 3rd may be a gut check period.

Vegas is really tough in their building so not a bad job keeping largely even with them through 2.

Now they need to dig deep and play a good third and get something out of this game.

It may not be aesthetically pleasing but we have done a great job of defending and not allowing much in way of high danger chances (maybe there have been three all game?). Our lack of finish is showing yet again though. If Fitz doesn’t bring in some help (Bjorkstrand, Donato, etc), then he’s failed.

That was a nice little slither down the wall. He made the LV guys look pretty bad on that play. Skating is fine. The ideas are fine.

It's mainly been the puck handling tonight. Maybe it's him, maybe it's bad bouncy puck luck. Maybe it's both.

We're facing a division leader on the road on the 2nd half of a back to back while they have 2 days rest. I do think we could be better, but right now I'd be happy with at least a point.

Also the moment we get a 3C and Haula gets glued to the pressbox will be godsend. 27.2 xGF% for that line.

At least as a side not Nemec leads the team in CF% and all dmen in xGF% (sheltered minutes but still)

Back to back against a good team that was rested they are at least hanging in. You expected they’d be winning after two? Score aside if the poll question was whether you’d expect to be tied or losing after two my guess is the majority would have said they’d be losing.

Jake Evans is annoyingly streaky but his underlying numbers have been better then Haula all season. He would be an upgrade

Vegas clogs up the neutral zone and is smothering. There’s hardly any open ice out there. We need to keep earnestly defending, be patient and bury one.
