They're doing what they did in October, no team can sustain what they did in December. December was clearly a blimp and what they can do at their ceiling, what they've shown out of the Christmas break is who they truly are this year.

teams figured out what they were doing any they haven’t been able to adjust.

instead of trying to generate offense on the rush like what has historically been this core’s strength, they just play a no event perimeter game. if you’re going to dump and chase you need a combination of skill and size. but all their players are one or the other and the lines aren’t balanced.

I dont think Fitz has done nearly as bad a job as some people believe. Think he has done wonders with Defense / and in net

But his forward moves to make us this much slower is my big worry. We went from the fastest team in hockey to middle of the pack and its ruined an identity we had

Spot on. Some of the criticism of Fitz I’ve read here is fair. A lot of it is just over the top venting.

Palat, Haula, depending how you feel about Dougie. I don't think he's completely dead weight, just takes up a lot of cap.

Haula is basically 15-16 Ruutu.

Palat is maybe 13-14 Zubrus, which will be 14-15 Zubrus next year. He may already be 14-15 Zubrus.

If we don’t do anything for a trade , I’m done watching this year. No point torturing myself . This team as-is just doesn’t have it at all . It has three forwards and that’s it . Meier needs to pick it up and we need to get rid of the useless bottom 6. Mercer included . All of them are useless . Cotter is the only one that I don’t think is an absolute waste of a roster spot
