I'll never fault a player for using his NTC/NMC but man did it hurt Allen using it earlier in the year on us.....

I think he got that contract about 3 years ago when we were still a complete and utter joke and Montreal had just made the Stanley Cup Finals.

He may have waived it for us this year, but he was apparently never asked until I guess the deadline?

I would think after last year he probably would have softened not wanting to come here.

I do think he would have come here by the time they had the three goalie rotation. They were barely playing Primeau earlier in the year and I think they did waive him after camp and he cleared, but at some point around November or they brought him back up and kept all 3 up ever since.
