That we could bring innumerable goaltenders in here and it wouldn't matter bc of the way the team was playing?

That ultimately anything short of elite super goaltending won't be enough, so maybe we should fix that instead of breaking goaltender #12?

Sure looks like Vegas can win with 'average' or worse goaltending. Same thing with Dallas.

Just look at all the movement, energy, and lack of shape the Devils have defensively and then watch other teams more calmly keep their areas and shape.

With all the nonsense the Devils do you would think they would sometimes luck into spectacular defensive plays but the concept is so bad even that doesn’t happen.

Marino and Siegenthaler are one problem next year that needs to correct itself with bounce back seasons by the two of them.

This is also a POORLY COACHED team, as poorly coached as it's been at any point this year.

One issue with this is they want to play a certain way, they can just sign JAGs for the bottom 6 or they end up with Nosek. You tell yourself you want bottom 6 guys that can play with pace, and jam, and you end up signing Miles Wood to a $2.5m x 6 deal cause there's not really that many guys out there in FA that can do that. McLeod is not an easy player to replace, which is why Fitz played with fire there (IMO).

Having the entire bottom 6 need to be replaced, or acquire players to push down Palat/Haula is a big deal.

the mid-tro and the other east bubble sludge have given this team I don't know how many chances to stay in the hunt and they can't take advantage of it whatsoever. very disheartening

Not what you’ve said and it’s also wrong if you did say it. Team wasn’t this bad most of the year. All they needed was solid goaltending.

Nosek was a good signing, he's just either severely hampered by the earlier injuries or maybe even completely toast at this point.

It's such a puzzling move to me... I just don't get how Fitz folded to "Fire Ruff" chants just to hand the keys to Green... of all the moves it makes me question his competency

Injuries to key guys, our biggest role player tied in scandal, awful coaching and historically bad goaltending. Everything that could've gone wrong this year went wrong. When you have a young team it's hard to deal with it all. This organization needs to dig down deep this summer, figure this out and assume the worst will happen so they are prepared to battle through it. Whoever can't deal with the adversity, well, that should say it all.

We really need a 2024 version of this



There's potential for a legendary one to match this season. I can make one, I just don't know how to do the editing on it, I don't have those skills to edit the subtitles into the video.

But I can write a very good script for this season with this video.
