The problem is the bottom-6 is a wasteland. Most of these guys won't be here next year. I think Lazar is the only one that isn't a casualty. Maybe Bastian comes back, but he's been injured. He would be an upgrade on just about all those guys, as down as I was on him at times this season.
Another problem is Smith (probably gonna be retired) and Bahl and Marino have also been horrible and Siegs while he's in.
Bahl will probably be #6 or #7 on the depth chart next year.
So a lot of the bottom 6 will be gone, they're all UFA's anyway, outside of Bastian (who hasn't even played in weeks) and Lazar.
Marino and Siegenthaler are one problem next year that needs to correct itself with bounce back seasons by the two of them.
This is also a POORLY COACHED team, as poorly coached as it's been at any point this year.
