It's been sloppy but it's been so enjoyable to see the Devils work smart AND hard in the defensive zone. Feels like the polar opposite of lindyball.

Tom Wilson single-handedly beat the Rangers ass, contributed to them bolstering their roster with tougher players. Matt Rempe single-handedly beat our ass, contributed to the Devils bolstering their roster with tougher players.

Its honestly soft, loser behavior. Yeah, Im sure Scott Stevens would say "he got beat up guys... nothing we can do". Claude Lemieux would spit at comments like those after he charges the guy into the boards

Gotta say, I'm impressed with the defensive effort here. Limiting high quality chances, hustle on back checks, closing gaps quickly. Great stuff up and down the lineup.
