I'm not sure what Nico did in his training however he is more explosive, appears to be a tick faster with his top end speed and his shot is greatly improved. He always had excellent edgework and he just appears to be coming out of his cuts faster.

He must've joined Bratt in his training regimen or something....

but could it also be the fact that Ruff's system had the guys running around a bit more than they were used to? Could see that forcing guys to skate a bit more passively to conserve energy during a full or extended shift

I’m always interested in how Wolf and Levi are doing. It’s still too early in their careers to say things are over but they’re both goalies with great pre-NHL stats but had questions marks because they aren’t the monstrous size that most NHL goalies are.

So far, they haven’t gotten rid of that size concern.

Mine is on Monday and will be spent in the hospital as my wife will get induced Sunday morning for the birth of our son. We'll see if I end up sharing birthdays with him.

My wife did happily agree in name discussions that Bryce is a cool name, and therefore will be his name in my man Sal's honor. And no, his middle name will not be Salvador.
