What’s with the disco lights?

I notice that at all of their games. It's been going on for years. It's kind of annoying.

And the lighting in the arena is pretty poor, but to be expected with how old it is.

Although a lot of the new buildings aren't so bright either.

I've always said Prudential Center has some of the best lighting, at least the way it translates through on TV.
