When he is falling time after time he is doing it straight forward. I never saw how he is circling himself, how he is moving his center of the mass around, I never saw "leg scrolling" from him. But I saw how he is trying to move his arms ahead of himself. Not just one time. I remember he got at least two big injuries not from the hit but from how he faced ice and boards. And I saw a couple of times who fall hard but stands after. So he def-ly needs a couple of few more lessons.falling in hockey is taught at a very young age. to suggest one of the best hockey players on the planet needs to learn how to fall is just really really dumb. jack has had some bad luck, that’s just about it.
RFA. Regular rules of amount of seasons or age.Very good news! Glad to have Grits aboard, he’ll definitely help!
Is he a RFA after the season, or a UFA?

I never said that or even hinted it at all.you’re acting like quinn won’t just come here as a free agent though. the chance of grabbing a talent like quinn is always going to be there because he’s always going to want to play with his brothers.
should we spend the next two seasons building depth and developing our other high end talent so when he comes over (which is all but guaranteed) it puts us over the top?
or should we trade our best assets now, max out our cap space and leave all the same holes in the roster with almost no depth and no prospects, so he comes now and we still have no third or fourth line and now we have no cheap ELCs that can take spots in the next 2-3 years?
that’s the debate. not “would quinn make the team better now?”
What is the salary for Grits for this 1 year deal? I have not seen it anywhere.
Who is shifting to LW? Gritsyuk is best suited playing RW. I would guess that Palat-Hishier-Meier will start the season together. Bratt will likely play with Hughes and Gritsyuk isn't a good fit for those two.
And another one.
You telling me that second overall pick could play badly because of injury, not because he is bad, and his play off could be not just fluke?
Also makes you wonder where the **** this team's head is at with injuries sometimes. Like it's one thing to run out a guy injured if he's important to your lineup but you mean to tell me once Nemec started the season poorly and got sent down, you couldn't have just realized it was a hinderance and had the operation then?! WTF was the point of him playing hurt for a **** AHL team or sitting on the bench in the NHL and never getting this fixed? In retrospect it explains a lot about his season. Somewhere I saw it’s the same injury that he had coming into camp. It never completely resolved. I’m sure it hampered his play as it was likely worse at times and not as limiting in other times. Hopefully he can rehab and work on his strength this offseason and come in fully healthy next season. What a crazy run of shoulders injuries
Imagine if he played in AHL with some sort of pain and didnt want to hurt himself in a B-level league. Sounds reasonable. In retrospect it explains a lot about his season. I don’t think Nemec is getting surgery based on the quote. Also makes you wonder where the **** this team's head is at with injuries sometimes. Iits not the first time we have questions and issues with our medical stuff. Also makes you wonder where the **** this team's head is at with injuries sometimes. This is a big reason why injuries pile up with us, we mismanage the **** out of guys, stars and scrubs alike.
I’ve completely changed my tune and was likely way too hard on the kid. I would be really disappointed if we dealt him. If Quinn is a Devil in a year or two, Nemec is a much better fit from a roster construction standpoint than Casey. The latter’s skill set wouldn’t be properly utilized without PP time. I like Casey a lot but if I had to choose now, I’d keep Simon.Imagine if he played in AHL with some sort of pain and didnt want to hurt himself in a B-level league. Sounds reasonable.
I hope its huge unluck. From mathematical perspective next season should be better. The problem in our case is the injuries can repeat itself that making reinjury as more realistical outcome.
Will see how it goes. For the beginning Nemec should not be a part of the trade for Larkin/Hughes/some other big name. He looks great in playoff, so if he will stay I think we will see even better defense next season with more experienced Luke and Nemec. Hope all of them will be healthy to start the season.
