Lafreniere is A, Mercer is B.

It’s a shame Mercer’s stats have dipped two years straight because he was right with him, maybe even ahead of him at one point.

this playoff matchup has been locked up since Christmas. It’s a shame the teams didn’t play more recently

Just as well, I loathed that we had to play the Canes at home in regular season game #82 right before the first two playoff games at home in 2009, especially when Carolina low key tanked the game to lock in the matchup with us and got rewarded for it.

I like that 3rd line, I think Sprong is about to heat up for us a bit, he was probably our best forward (not saying much) vs Boston.

Seems like Keefe's confidence in Casey is growing, looks like he's gonna get a 3rd straight game over Nemec.

Dillon needs to play a more conservative game next to Casey. Let Casey handle th puck and make the decisions with it. Dilon just needs to clear the crease and be ready to trail behind Casey.

For our sanity, Devils need to reiterate Siegs timetable since I think it was only a few days ago that he was still not even a possibility.

Or don’t and have him be a surprise healthy player in game 1.

Just as well, I loathed that we had to play the Canes at home in regular season game #82 right before the first two playoff games at home in 2009, especially when Carolina low key tanked the game to lock in the matchup with us and got rewarded for it.

It was also funny that we played the Rangers in game 82 the season before when we got blitzed by them, then had to play them in the playoffs. I think that was our only win over them that year. I can’t remember if we played them 8 or 6 times. I think we lost at least two shootouts against them that year before winning that one.

I just wanted to come on today to say RIP Ray Shero. I was very shaken by the news of his death. A good human and an excellent leader. My heart and thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.

If it wasn't for Ray, Bratt would not have been drafted in 2016.

He (along with Paul Castron) saw his potential and gave him a shot....and it has paid off in spades.

For that, I will forever be grateful and I provide my deepest condolences to his family.

Wow!! Fitzgerald said just days ago that Siegs hasn’t even been able to put on skates yet. I still strongly suspect he won’t be available until/unless we make it to the Conference Finals.

Great news on Hamilton. Originally, Fitzgerald didn’t even seem confident he would be ready if we made it to the second round. He would give us a big boost.
