Best 3C in the game.

Devils are 2 games behind Panthers and Oilers, which was the Cup Finals last season. Devils also have a better goal differential and more regulation wins than those two teams.

Things ebb and flow every season due to injuries and when teams get hot and cold. It’s all about how you are playing in April. At least NJ has some confidence right now and seemingly are handling their injury situation better than EDM and FLA at this moment.

Montreal is riding good vibes all of 2025, credit to them. They deserve the postseason but what they are doing is unsustainable. They were just outplayed by both the Flyers and Preds pretty badly and somehow managed 4 pts. They need a lot of maturity over the offseason along with other moves or they will see a big decline next season. While Devils just need a few upgrades and a healthy center core next season.

Quiet, I want to keep hearing about where every single Habs player ranks “asset value-wise” around the league

Team has actually been solid in the 1st and 2nd periods for quite some time now. So protecting 3rd period leads has been the focus in last weeks practices and now this. I think things will get even better because during the 16 games in 31 days in March, we only had two practices. And that’s with new faces on the roster. The rest and practice availability in April will be huge. This is already their 3rd April practice.

So apparently the Devils and Sabres had a deal in place for Cozens and the Sens came in last second with Norris and won out.

Sabres love their injury prone centers.

The Habs have played unbelievably well within their division, sweeping 4 games from Florida for example. There was a graphic during one of their recent games that showed them having the best record within their division of any team in the league. Like 12 - 4 and something.

Meanwhile we swept all three of our games with them.

Hutson is having an unbelievable rookie season. Kid is quite mature with his positional play and skilled at playing the puck. Suzuki has been crazy good since the break. (I don’t forgive him for the cross check on Nico). Montelambeau in goal has been solid too.
