I don't know how it will age but to my eyes Pesce has been top notch this season and worth his contract so far. Others may see it differently.

Struggled 1st month back, which was fair and to be expected considering injury. Then played well. Then back to underperforming more than I'd like. Could be an injury, idk. Again, not a bad player by any means and a fair-ish signing pre Kovy extension considering team need at the time. Def disagree with him being top notch this season...he had roughly 2 months of great play. Otherwise, he's losing inside positioning wayyy too often in the dzone and a half step slow at times.

I gotta admit. I've been on Twitter for a while I genuinely don't see that type of stuff but everyone says it's there. Guess I'm fortunate.

Chronological would be fantastic across all social media. It's probably the one thing I loathe about every social media platform that ISNT chronological.

You can also just have Twitter be chronological by using the "Following" tab rather than the "For You" tab. It's easy and my default.

I don’t want to turn this into a social media pissing contest but there are people wishing death to others on bluesky. It’s still people there and people say stupid stuff if you get enough people talking.

I haven't been noticing that sort of thing too often with Pesce but I'm not zeroing in on him compared to some other players. He made that fantastic play against Minnesota where he tied up the Wild player's stick and cleared the puck that was behind Markstrom. I'll try to watch him more closely the next few games to see what you are seeing.

Just in my hobbies, there's an awful lot of know-nothings that pass themselves off as "experts" online... especially in archery.

Funny how you never see those people at tournaments or ever see any documented scores for those kind of people. Just always talking.

I don't think that's any secret lol. Everyone who's played with him has looked terrible. Idk what the "stats" say though

It does make me think a little bit about Casey and Nemec, I haven’t looked it up but I think they’ve played a bunch of their minutes with each other or Dillon which feels like possibly a self-reinforcing whirlpool of difficulty.

Dillon at least may be used to it while the other 2 aren’t good enough to settle things down if the partner also can’t settle things down.

I think the Nemec thing is being over blown. With the proper tutelage this kid is going to be good. Will he be a star ? Too soon to judge IMO. Luke’s game improved quite a bit starting the year paired with a vet like Pecse

Had zero goals and 3 points in 22 games after his trade to SJ. So looks like there is a settling in period for him after going to a new team.

Still his 27 5v5 goals this season and last would place 5th on the Devils, just one goal behind Bratt and Meier, and one goal ahead of Mercer.

If Ottawa sours on his slow start with their team and look to move him this offseason I'd hope Fitz would make a phone call.

I still am, I think he would be an amazing bottom 6 guy to have and work up and down the line up when needed. But it's whatever, hopefully in the summer we find players to fill it out.
