I don’t think they expected to move Dougie. Nemec hasn’t progressed enough and the staff must see that with Casey as well. They have enough to pay Luke about $9.5 mil assuming Gritsyuk at about $1 mil for one year and return Glass at $2.5. They will have to cheap out on the last two guys on the fourth line and they will have to live with Daws at backup. They can send down MacDemrid if needed to create a million in cap. At least that was my back of the envelope math when I looked at cap wages dot com.

His and Meier"s lack of goal scoring has been a major problem for this team this season.... couple that with the fact that we didn't add the extra top 6 forward we all believe we needed and just ran with Palat makes the lack of goal scoring from Meier and Bratt much , much worse.....the top 10 scoring nonsense does absolutely nothing for us when we don't have a single winger on this team with 20 goals having played almost 80% of the season.
If it’s par for the course for Bratt then you can shut up now. You’re complaining about the goal totals of a guy that typically finishes in the mid 20s. He may be lower than that this year — while breaking the franchise record for assists and possibly clear 90 points.

For the record I'm complaining about Meier and Bratt together.
Both Jack and Bratt shots were down this year. .. I don't believe those two should have been on the same line ..Regardless of what any matrix say I don't believe those two games compliment each other.
