I didn't watch yesterday's game but if I'm Keefe it's time to do some lineup changes. We need to get our top 6 rolling again. I would make the following changes just to see if it reignites the top 6.
Meier-Nico-Bratt
Palat-Hughes-Noeson
Realistically though we need to add a 3rd line center and a good winger who can score. I wouldn't even be opposed to calling up Casey but not as a dman but as a winger for sh*ts and giggles. That would be an instant boost to goal scoring. If we tried the Casey at winger experiment I would throw him with Hughes and see what happens. That would push down one of Palat or Noeson down to the 3rd line which is where they truly belong.

Finally got to catch a game at the Hobey Baker Arena. Princeton lost to Colgate 6 to 4, was a good back and forth game. Alot of you who live closer to here than me (took 2 hours and 10 minutes to get there from where I'm at in NY) should go see a game here ! Tickets are cheap and there literally is not 1 bad seat here.

I have no clue if you guys are gonna get JT Miller or not, but what he did tonight is exactly what he did in the playoffs for us, and for the last three seasons.

When he is engaged, he’s an absolute monster on the ice, McDavid probably absolutely hates him.

He is a very good player but I think the rumors around us being involved are just to drive up the price for the Rangers

Was a rough weekend for the Tigers. Friday night there were a ton of NHL scouts in the house for the Cornell game. The Big Red were simply bigger and faster and wore down the younger Princeton team.

Both Princeton and Colgate were trying to salvage the weekend after Friday losses to two of the top teams in the ECAC.

For Devils' fans, Tom Chorske's son Brett scored the game-winning goal with about three minutes left.

After watching yesterday's game, other than right/left, it qould be hard to justify to Simon and his camp that he is still in the AHL while another young defenseman is not. Throw in the Seamus Casey love fest at the beginning of the year (and the way Mukhmadullin was traded without getting an opportunity to fully develop) and you begin to see why he would rather be elsewhere.

This team is in full-on freefall. Now lost 8 of their last 10. What the hell is happening? Has everyone been sick for the past three weeks? Another 1 goal game, against one of the worst starters in the league. And the only goal coming from a defenseman.

Noah Cates looked good at times last game. Keep an eye out for him.

Cates (and that entire line) is Exhibit A of the difference between the philosophies of the Flyers and Devils when it comes to player development - and a reason the Flyers organization seems to have a larger stock of homegrown talent either currently in the lineup (or on the way).

I don't see how this can be the case or how we can offer any package considering we are not even one of the teams Vancouver has granted permission to talk to Miller. (At least from what is being reported).

For all we know Fitz is eyeing someone else from Vancouver like Suter or Boeser.

yeah what this guy said, send luke to the ahl!

(it’s actually really easy to see why nemec is in the ahl). it was his spot to lose in preseason and he lost it. whether it’s the injury he sustained or the exceeding of expectations for the other guys, he didn’t play well in preseason or in the brief window he had up here playing sheltered minutes and kovacevic has been a damn near elite shut down dman for the first half of the season.

the guys above him haven’t given coach a reason to sit them and bump nemec back up. so the best spot is for him to play top minutes and develop and the ahl. anyone who doesn’t have a very weird personal bias against a certain family can understand that.

Scored my first youth travel hockey goal here when I was a young lad on the devils!

I thought I saw his name on the back of one of the jerseys lol. I always look for ex NHLers names and stuff like that. We're you at the game last night ? I literally only saw 1 guy wearing a Devils hat besides me.

Team is battling illness; will they tell us when they're all healthy? Keefe is the Spin Doctor

he literally has said multiple times that it is no excuse. But sure other than that!

for sure, that winning and excellent organization known as the Philadelphia Flyers, with such a long recent history of success!!
