We have 3 2nds, I’d happily part with two of them for a scoring winger. And that’s likely about what the asking price would be for one of the better ones.

Let’s remember Toffoli went for a future 2nd and a current year 4th amidst a 20+ goal season.

Wonder what the thinking with those are, we might have to use them to dump Palat or Hamliton in the summer or a draft day thread to set up for free agency. Also all 3 of those seconds are going to be relatively late since they're ours, Oilers and the Jets to where I don't think they'll outbid a first with those but who knows

Montreal is one of those teams (The Rangers are another) that just gets insane returns for whoever and whatever they trade.

It sucks because their fans run their mouths about some Evans type rental returning a 1st round pick and you're like "that's stupid" and then some GM is like "Yes, but so am I".

Looking at Lehkonen and Toffoli don't seem like fleeces either, neither does Kulak.

1st for taking on 6 mill in cap was the going market rate in the flat cap. And monahan lasted just 25 games that year after MTL acquired him, which is exactly why calgary dumped him. He couldn't last a full year.

Monahan for a late 1st when he finally stayed healthy was reasonable. It's what brock nelson will get this year.

If you were upset about Jack's OT, you don't want to touch Taylor Hall. He's not Hart trophy Hall anymore, and Nichols is seizing the moment with his hot takes every other day.
