Yes. To join the ranks of other no names that Fitz has targeted in the summer before like Dougie Hamilton, Ondrej Palat, Brett Pesce, Jacob Markstrom. I really wish he'd start bringing in some guys we've heard of before.

It’s been a human centipede of the same takes from the same people for about a week now: “Why couldn’t we match that/fire fitz/Gritsyuk should play in prospects camp”…lather in bacon grease, light oneself on fire, repeat.

Yeah, I'm hoping Fitz can do something to improve the Devils but at this point I have 0 confidence. Dennis Chowlowski, Cody Glass, Jonathan Gruden, Daniel Sprong, Mark McLauglin or more of those just will not do it

I don't usually make posts about potential Devil trades, I usually just crap all over them on the big board posting Goodfellas laughing. I also doubt anyone else would think too highly of this scenario, but here goes anyway. We obviously want to get out from under Palat's contract, That doesn't look to be the easiest thing for Fitz to do. So, while reading about players other teams may want to dump, Elias Lindholm's name came up. He has 5 more years at 7.75. Is there any possibility Palat and a small sweetener for Lindholm with Bruins retaining 1.75 makes sense? The salaries would be a wash, and we get the center we need. I know he's not a 3C, but Nico would slide into his natural spot at 3C (wink wink). Only reason for Bs to do it is if they are really trying to dump him and can't and want to get out of his long contract. I doubt this has legs, but what the hell.
