It's always really funny in the summer when everyone forgets that injuries happen. The Devils just went through a season where they had 4 NHL grade RHDs signed for the season and they had to healthy scratch one of them maybe 4 times, and play Pesce on the left side 5 times? RHDs for the Devils played a combined 236 games this season, meaning there were at least 10 games where the Devils had 4 lefties in the lineup (they probably dressed 7 D a few times too)

Seamus Casey should absolutely not be traded.

I would expect Colton White would be the 7D. He had great numbers for a small sample. I also wouldnt deal Casey but I think he may want to be traded to a team that will give him more opportunity

Not sure what you could possibly mean because they’ve fully made 8 first round picks in their 9 years in the league (mind you 3 were in their first).

Why would anybody give him more opportunity? He hasn't stayed healthy. Who is looking at Seamus Casey and thinking there's our guy?

Colton White was a fine fill in defender but he played no special teams. He's also an LHD. If Hamilton gets hurt (and chances are, he will), it will be nice to have Casey in the organization. They really do not have another power play guy in Utica - I expect they will sign one, but I don't want someone at the level of Calen Addison being the next man up.

I think everyone’s misinterpreting this tweet because it’s worded a little weirdly.

I don’t think he’s saying their offer was 14M+. Sounds like he’s just saying Dallas made an offer that was rejected, and then separate the expected price Robertson is looking for is 14M+ (which is in line with other reports) and that some teams are willing to go there.
