i could use a good rant on shane doan tonight

I've got no issue with Shane Doan. He was a VERY GOOD player, but he was never better than Patrik Elias, like those f***in fools were spouting off over on the main board about 10 years ago.

I can't see any argument that he was better than Elias at anything.

I still think Elias will go into the hall of fame some year where they're lacking someone names to put in, Shane Doan will not. I see no chance of Shane Doan ever ending up in the HOF.

Actually, if Doan ends up in the hall of fame, it will be as a builder or something one day.
