Putting The Nose on PP1 has worked out.

I do still wonder if switching Luke and Dougie on the PP might make sense. The 1st unit really isn't set up for Dougie's strengths, where PP2 could be built to just purely set up Dougie and Timo one timers
I dont think it makes too much sense yet. I like hughes carrying the puck in the second unit instead of Mercer.

Also he hasn't unleashed it exactly yet, but people really respect Dougies shot so when he gets out of the way, we wind up playing a 4 on 3. that Jack goal was perfect example of it. I think one of the guys followed Dougie down the boards and he was the furthest player from the puck.

they need to continue this into the Edmonton game, would love to see a string of wins spun together.

Friday will be interesting. We are starting to roll while the Flames have lost 4 in a row. Would really like a win there. Markstrom very likely getting the start against his former team. Hope the boys keep it up and he gets that big win

Keefe’s message is getting through for everyone. Mentioned it a couple times but Jack and Luke both played an extremely attentive game. We know there’s a lot of offence in there for both guys. As they keep getting reps and playing this way the floodgates will open. I swear Luke was hardly noticeable tonight and I love that.

It was always going to be a matter of time until Keefe got this team rolling.

It's entirely possible they still will hit some bumps in November, but sooner then later Keefe will have them doing this more nights then not.

Its Always Sundstrom

Ok I think I'm going to bed. This was fun. I'm feeling some vibes from 2 years ago. We will see if this lasts ...

Tonight should've been their toughest challenge for the next couple of weeks until they've got a murderers row of Florida 2x, TB, Carolina, and Washington. They should be able to keep up the strong play as in the last 4 they played an even game against the Isles, beat up on 2 shitty teams in the Wings and Ducks, and played what I'd call their best game of the year tonight against a strong team. In the next 5 they've got the Flames who might have a decent record but are not good, the Habs/Sharks who are horrible, a McDavid-less Oilers, and the Isles. Keep the ball rolling against those teams and then maybe we'll be able to keep it rolling and get back to competing with the big boys

Nah I think Dougie is fine on PP1, part of me thinks some of his struggles have mental. We don't know exactly how he got hurt last year but if it was on a one T shot then he's probably scared to fully hammer it early in this season. Plus, this team is similar to NYR/TB/COL where their top unit should play the full 2 minutes anyway

Tullamore Dew for all!

I'll stick to my lowly Jameson, tyvm
