Boudreau was hired before the new management was so it’s not surprising that they’re very agnostic about him.

It would have been pretty hard to fire him when fans were chanting his name but they probably eventually want to hire their own guy.

He's also old, maybe the oldest in the league? Or it's Bowness. I thought Bowness was just only a few weeks older than Bruce?

Either way, Bowness is probably one of the most obvious stop gaps in the league as it is. Considering he wasn't even a head coach for the better part of 25 years before lucking into a job when a head coach was fired for non-hockey reasons.
