They haven’t done a good job of letting Schmid see pucks. Every shot is a kind of lob at the net but ends up looking dangerous because there’s always 2 Canes and 3 Devils around the crease.

You have to give up somewhere. It gives very little inside, keeps shots to the outside, but of course the opponent can use that to their advantage. It worked rather well for us this season.

It's really stupid, considering the speed of the team. I understand it for slower and bigger teams that need to rely on the shot blocking, but for us? Put some damn pressure on them.
