We just saw Dach get ragdolled and humiliated by Kovacevic and no one has made a comment about how soft as baby shit he is.

Being a first overall and signing a 7.6M$ long term contract comes with that kind of pressure. People are hard on him but he needs to play better if we are to be a competitive team long term. Of course he is still really young, plenty of time left.

I still think Dobes has promise even if he has things to work on.

I'm sick of this team living and dying by goaltending anyway. We can't expect another price to come along and carry us when the rest of the team is mediocre.

Of course. I'm still hoping for Dobes to be the guy in the shorter term but time will tell.

It's not so much finding a guy that can bail you out every night like Price. It's more about finding reliable goaltending that at least gives you a chance to win on most nights.

Monty just isn't doing that this season. He's good for at least one stinker every night, sometimes two. He regularly lets in goals that just have to be stopped.
